We're continuing with more events for Coeliac Awareness Month! Yesterday it was the turn of the little ones in the house, and we want to share with you the wonderful day we had with our gluten-free pizza workshop at El Miracle.
The boys and girls arrived enthusiastic and ready to get cracking. With the help of our chefs, each child was able to make their own gluten-free pizza, with the ingredients they liked best and in the shape they decided themselves. We were surprised to see the creativity and skill of these little chefs in action! Here are the ingredients they used and the steps they followed:
After creating their own doughs, shaping them, adding their favourite ingredients and baking the pizzas, they all sat down together to enjoy their culinary creations. It filled us with joy to see the children savouring their pizzas with beaming smiles, sharing anecdotes and laughter with their new friends.
To reward each child's effort and talent, we presented them with a personalised pizza master diploma, an El Miracle tote bag, a reusable water bottle, a mug, and a pre-made fresh pizza dough so they could assemble it again at home and surprise their families with what they had learned in the workshop.
