As you know, 5 May is Coeliac Disease Awareness Day worldwide and the 16 May is International Coeliac Disease Awareness Day in Spain and Europe. But at El Miracle, one day isn't enough for us, which is why we're celebrating Coeliac Disease Awareness Month with numerous events, activities, and workshops. We want to raise awareness and support all coeliac individuals, demonstrating that they can enjoy food without worry and without giving up on fun. Because they can, and they MUST!

Coeliac Awareness Month events 2024
Gluten-free artisan fresh pasta workshop
Yes, you read that right! We're offering a unique opportunity to learn how to make your own gluten-free fresh pasta, guided by the talented professional chef Marianna Mastropasqua, manager of the Marymont bakery.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 7th May from 18:00 to 20:30 at our restaurant, located at C/Campoamor 42 in Valencia. Places are limited, so be sure to book yours as soon as possible in the events section of our website. Click here.
During the activity, Marianna will teach you how to make different types of fresh gluten-free filled pasta, including garganelli, tagliolini, tagliatelle, and ravioli. The filling? A delicious combination of potato, pecorino cheese, and garlic that will have you licking your fingers. And all this with doughs made from tiger nut flour and paprika tiger nut, to give it a unique and special touch of flavour. And, as it couldn't be any other way, after the workshop, attendees will be able to have dinner with their delicious creations.
Dinner with wine pairing
On Thursday 16 May – World Coeliac Day – prepare to enjoy a unique experience where you can delight your senses with 4 gluten-free dishes paired with 4 different wines and, to finish, a delicious dessert. All guided by Maximiliano Bao, Brand Ambassador for Bodegas Vicente Gandía and Spain's best sommelier, who will guide you through this experience.

- Marinated salmon paired with sweet Bobal.
- Lamb tartar with 36-month-aged Bobal Blanco.
- León cured beef croquette paired with Ceramic Monastrell.

Gluten-free Pizza Workshop (ages 3-10)
Attention all parents with little ones who love pizza and fun! Our gluten-free pizza workshop will be held on Sunday, 19th May, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, at our restaurant. A perfect opportunity for children to have fun making their own gluten-free pizzas and then enjoy them in good company.
Little ones can choose from a variety of ingredients and unleash their culinary creativity. A fantastic plan for enjoying in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere!

Dinner in collaboration with ACECOVA
We're putting the finishing touches on our Coeliac Awareness Month with a dinner in collaboration with the Coeliac Association of the Valencian Community (ACECOVA). The dinner will take place on Thursday, 23rd May, at 8:30 PM in our restaurant.
The event will kick off with a talk delivered by ACECOVA, where they will provide us with valuable tools to improve the gluten-free life of someone with coeliac disease. Afterwards, we will delight in an exquisite gluten-free dinner prepared for the occasion. Furthermore, during dinner, we will have the first solidarity beer check.
