As you know, at El Miracle our commitment goes far beyond offering a 100% gluten-free menu. We are also a platform for raising awareness about coeliac disease. On this occasion, Hiba Malek, co-founder of El Miracle, has once again demonstrated this commitment by taking part in the ‘Cadena de Valor’ programme on À Punt Radio, where she provided an in-depth analysis of the cost of living with coeliac disease.
In this programme, we have shared space with other professionals specialising in gluten-free products, such as Pablo Russo, baker and businessman at El Obrador del Celíaco; and Jesús Salinas, president of the Association of Coeliacs of the Valencian Community (ACECOVA). The result has been an enriching interview in which Hiba Malek had the opportunity to detail our gluten-free food offering.
Hiba highlighted several key aspects of our gastronomic offering: the influence of Syrian cuisine in our dishes, the variety of gluten-free vegan options, and our priority of maintaining affordable prices for everyone. At El Miracle, we firmly believe that people with coeliac disease should be able to share a table with others without giving up the flavour and enjoyment of eating. Therefore, we strive to be an inclusive and safe space, following strict protocols to avoid cross-contamination.
During the interview, Hiba stated: “we are committed to making tasty, home-cooked food. We don't just want people with coeliac disease to come, we want everyone. The culture here is about eating and sharing, and for people with coeliac disease to be able to do that like anyone else, and not feel penalised in a gluten-free place that lacks flavour. We want everyone at the table to enjoy themselves.” Would you like to hear Hiba's statement? Click right here!

We are proud to be part of this important conversation and to continue supporting the coeliac community from our culinary corner.
